He’s adored by the ladies, yet is one of the boys! Rob Mills is a born entertainer.

Rob knew early on that he wanted to sing and perform: by the age of 21 he had spent three years as front man for the Mega Men, becoming one of the most successful pub bands in Melbourne with packed houses at every show.

In 2003, Rob auditioned for Australian Idol. He found himself in the Top 12 and went on reach the Top 5, on what became the highest rating TV show in history. The Top 13 went on to tour the country with packed multiple arena shows in every major Australian city.

He was signed to BMG shortly after the Idol Tour and his first single, Ms. Vanity debuted at #6 on the Australian charts, reaching Gold status. His debut album Up All Night was released in June 2004, featuring seven co-written tracks.
Rob embarked on an east coast tour playing to his many fans from Cairns to Melbourne in August and September 2004 followed by various corporate and TV performances including the Channel 9 AFL Grand Final Breakfast and Carols by Candlelight. In 2005 Rob was the host of a brand new TV show called Stooged for Network Ten (a version of the US series Punked).

GREASE - The Arena Spectacular was yet another chapter for the many talents of Rob Mills, taking to the stage as the pop star idol Johnny Casino, Rob delighted audiences around Australia throughout May and June 2005. This GFO production awakened Rob's love for musical theatre.

After the obligatory backpacking trip around Europe in 2006, Rob arrived home stepping straight back into various corporate, radio and music performances and guest spots on the ABC's Spicks & Specks.

May 2007 saw Rob in the lead role of Claude in the Perth production of Hair, which won rave reviews and a sold out season.
